Jonnie Rocket creates a world of his own – with even more ideas of how to influence children!
We are super excited to be able to announce some wonderful and amazing things that have been happening in the background for these last 6 months! For the people who don’t know we have a super stand in the Space Store Oxford & The Space Store Didcot, these contain some perfect merchandise for your Jonnie Rocketeers including things such as water bottles, chocolate rocket lollies and of course Jonnie Rocket books just to name a few. It is a fascinating place to visit – for all things space!
In addition to this we are in the process of developing T-Shirts, Activity Packs & Children focused motivational card packs. This will include 30 cards with the result being that each child is able to pick out one card a day to help keep positive thoughts, we would recommend children to open these at the beginning of the day to help start the day on a great message from Jonnie or Sofia. In the last three years, the likelihood of young people having a mental health problem has increased by 50%. Now, five children in a classroom of 30 are likely to have a mental health problem, with statistics like this we wanted to try and see what Jonnie & Sofia could do to help the situation that all young children minds are going through. We are extremely proud of what these will become and are looking forward to be able to share with you all very soon.
Sofia is a character in which we look into the future of creating more within the new books that will be made, with this we are looking at working with new illustrators to see what they can create in Sofia – this is such an exciting part of creating new books because all illustrators have such fantastic skills and we love seeing how they can create the characters in which we learn to love today. Darby Elodie was our latest illustrator and we thought this would be a great time to share her versions of Sofia with you. The part we love most about these illustrations are the background, we think that Sofia really stands out on how independent she looks but also how great she will continue to fit in with Jonnie in the more adventures to come.
We really do enjoy working with all different illustrators, so if you know anyone or are someone who thinks they would enjoy working with us – please do not hesitate to contact us or recommend us! Even to just have a chat we would love to hear from you. As part of developing the characters we really enjoy seeing others detailing on each character and the ones we are already thinking of creating moving forward, it would be a role that we would like to continue for a long time thoughout the series of all the books to come.
Whilst we continue to develop Jonnie Rockets world of Adventures to outside of just inside books we would like to take this opportunity to thank every single person who has purchased a book or any part of merchandise so far, we would not be where we are without you and we cannot wait to help make children lives better even if it is 1 by 1, as world that is happy and kind is such a lovely place for us to be as well as our children to be part of and hopefully continue in future.
